Killlarney is lucky to be so close to so many beautiful beaches around County Kerry. Many beaches have Surfing lessons, Knd a variety of Watersports along with Horse Riding.
Derrynane Beach near Caherdaniel (above) is worth a look
Nature in the National park
Summer brings growth to vegetation and cover for calving Red Deer, you may be lucky to come across some nature in the park yourself. Walking, Cycling and Boating are the best ways to see the Park.
There is always a herd of Deer opposite the gate to Muckross House and in the lower fields near the Killarney's Saint Mary's Cathedral
Go take a Jaunting Car, Pony and Trap ride
Pony and Trap and Jaunting cars are available in Killarney Town, Muckross Gates and Muckross House. Its a great way to see the National Park
